20 Years of NPA: Tameklo Leads High-Level Delegation to Brief Former President Kufuor
In advance of the National Petroleum Authority’s 20th anniversary festivities, NPA Chief Executive Godwin Kudzo Tameklo made former President John Agyekum Kufuor a courtesy call at his home in Peduase. During the visit, Mr. Tameklo formally informed the former President of the historic occasion and thanked him for his crucial contribution to the creation of the NPA twenty years ago. He also praised his vision and leadership in creating an organization that continues to promote efficiency, transparency, and consumer protection in Ghana’s downstream petroleum industry. He also formally invited Mr. Kufuor to take part in the centennial events, which the former president gratefully accepted. He urged the head of the NPA to maintain professionalism and integrity in the Authority’s work. A delegation led by Mr. Tameklo included Executive Assistant Emmanuel Mensah Hanson, Director of Risk and Planning Committee Chairman Joseph Awan, Director of Corporate Affairs Maria Oquaye, Head of Communications Racheal Naa Atswei Nee-Okpey, Head of Protocol and Logistics Genevieve Bissue, Executive Assistant Maxwell Boakye, and Special Aide to the Chief Executive.
