NO HIDING PLACE! 10 Arrested for Brutal Tarkwa Assault — And 19 More Grabbed in Tamale Drug Raid!
A Special Cyber Vetting and Enforcement Team of the Ghana Police arrested 10 suspects involved in a video showing the physical abuse of two young women in Tarkwa in the Western Region, including Eric Donkor (Killer Block), 32; Yaw Gyimah, 29; Edmond Nartey, 24; and Tawiah (Awaga), who were seen cutting the victims’ scalps with a razor, as well as Steven Amu, 24; Farouk Balas, 18; Mensah Bernard, 18; Adu Baggeo, 23; Bismark Nyarko, 30; Akwesi Poku George, 18; and Oteng Alfred, 23, who were arrested for aiding and abetting, while the police said efforts were underway to provide support to the victims; and in another development, the IGP’s Special Operations Taskforce arrested 19 persons in the Tamale metropolis for involvement in illicit drug peddling, including five suspected drug peddlers, 13 gang members, and one person found with a firearm and ammunition without lawful authority, recovering suspected cannabis, suspected cocaine, a single-barrel gun, 13 BB cartridges, motorbikes believed to be stolen, mobile phones, and assorted electronic devices, with all suspects detained at the Tamale Regional Police Headquarters for screening, profiling, and further investigation.
