From CEO to KING-LEVEL! Sammy Gyamfi honoured with the ancient Suma Adinkra Sword — same award given to Kufuor, Akufo-Addo & Mahama!
Sammy Gyamfi, who serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Gold Board, has been presented with the highly esteemed Suma Adinkra Sword by the Suma Traditional Council in recognition of his remarkable contributions to the organization and its leadership. Odeneho Dr. Affram Brempong III, the Paramount Chief, commended Gyamfi for the excellent effect that GoldBod has made under his leadership, making note of the fact that the sword is only handed to leaders who have influence that extends beyond their institutions. In expressing his gratitude to the team, Gyamfi said that the award was a testament to the group’s dedication to improving the gold industry of Ghana. The Suma Adinkra Sword, which has a history of 470 years and is considered to be a symbol of greatness, has already been bestowed to former Presidents Kufuor, Akufo-Addo, and Mahama, which demonstrates the significance of the distinction.
