Teachers Finally Paid After Payroll Chaos!
The Education Ministry has stated that the Controller and Accountant‑General’s Department (CAGD) has now finalised the handling and release of all pending teacher stipends originally set for November 2025 after a systems error in the last payroll process caused an unexpected hold‑up, and the Ministry expressed regret to those educators who were impacted by the delay, thanked them for their forbearance and professionalism, underscored the government’s esteem for their essential contribution to teaching nationwide, and confirmed it will continue to work in concert with the CAGD and other partners to reinforce payroll infrastructure and avert similar incidents going forward.
