18,617 nurses and midwives get service postings, NSA says report July 1, validate by July 10.

The National Service Authority (NSA) has released postings for 18,617 eligible nurses and midwives for the 2026/2027 national service year. The postings, announced on June 22, 2026, cover candidates who successfully passed the August and September 2025 Nursing and Midwifery Council licensure examinations, commonly referred to as the major season examinations. According to a statement signed by the Director-General of the NSA, Mrs. Ruth Dela Seddoh, all posted personnel are required to undertake a regional validation exercise from June 22 to July 10, 2026, before reporting for national service on July 1, 2026. Eligible candidates have been directed to visit the Authority’s website to check their postings and complete the validation process within the stipulated period. The Authority also reminded both employers and prospective service personnel of their obligations under the National Service Authority Act, 2024 (Act 1119).
