Ghana pays $700m on Eurobond, total debt service hits $2.1bn since January 2025.
The government has made an early payment of approximately $700 million toward its Eurobond debt obligations, marking another significant milestone in its debt servicing programme.
Sources indicate that the payment, made on Thursday, comprised $525.2 million in principal and $174.8 million in interest. The latest disbursement brings Ghana’s total payments to Eurobond holders to $2.1 billion since January 2025, in line with the terms of the Eurobond Debt Exchange Programme.
