Bawumia Is NPP’s Safest Pair of Hands—Akosua Manu Urges Unity Behind Ex-Veep
Akosua Manu, the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) candidate for parliament in Adentan in 2024, has said that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the former Vice President, is the best person to lead the party forward.
In an interview with Metro TV, Ms. Manu said that party members and delegates trust Dr. Bawumia because of his record as a leader, his honesty, and his clear vision for the NPP’s future.
She says that Dr. Bawumia’s experience as Ghana’s Vice President and his role in shaping important national policies have made him well-prepared to lead the party through its rebuilding phase and into future elections.
She said, “Dr. Bawumia is the safest person to put our great party in.” She went on to say that his calm leadership style and consistency continue to inspire trust within the party.
Ms. Manu also asked party members to work together, saying that supporting Dr. Bawumia would make the NPP stronger and help it win back the trust of Ghanaians in the years to come.
