Big Appointment Alert! Afenyo-Markin Elevates Kassim to Strengthen Minority Operations
Alexander Kwamena Afenyo-Markin, who is the Minority Leader in Parliament, has made Alhaji Zubairu Kassim his Senior Political Advisor for Constituency Affairs. This appointment takes effect right away. Afenyo-Markin calls the selection “a deliberate investment in leadership excellence and institutional capacity.” It was seen as a smart move to improve the Minority Leader’s office’s leadership and operating efficiency. Ahmed Rufai Adamu, who is the Chef de Cabinet at the Office of the Minority Leader, signed a statement saying that Kassim has a lot of experience in running the government, making political plans, and managing people. People say that the past Municipal Chief Executive for Effutu (2021–2025) worked with Afenyo-Markin to make big progress in Effutu’s growth. Kassim has gone to the University of Cape Coast and the University of Ghana Business School and now is going to the University of Education, Winneba to get an MPhil. The Minority Leader said he was sure Kassim could improve strategy planning and leadership that is responsible.
