Ghost Names Galore! Ex-NSA Boss Slapped With GH¢800M Bail in Mega Scam Case
In a recent decree, the High Court of Accra has bestowed upon the former Executive Director of the National Service Authority, Osei Assibey Antwi, the boon of bail, set at the grand sum of GH¢800 million. This follows grave accusations of his sanctioning payments amounting to GH¢500.8 million in allowances to a multitude of over 60,000 spectral national service personnel, alongside the alleged misappropriation of GH¢106 million from the esteemed Kumawu Farm Project of the NSA. Justice Kizita Naa Koowa Quarshie hath decreed that six sureties with estates be provided, and hath placed Mr. Antwi upon a list of restraint until the trial’s conclusion. In a matter of consequence, the erstwhile Chief Executive Officer of the National Food and Buffer Stock Company, Hanan Abdul-Wahab Aludiba, alongside his spouse, Faiza Seidu Wuni, has been bestowed with bail amounting to GH¢150 million, charged with the grave offenses of thievery and the laundering of over GH¢60 million, funds intended for the noble cause of school feeding provisions. Both have entered a plea of not guilty to numerous charges, with the court commanding their weekly attendance before investigators as the hearings persist on the twenty-seventh day of November in the year two thousand twenty-five.
