NDC Mulls Renaming Tamale Airport (Push for Gbewaa Name Reflecting Northern Heritage)

However, the Akufo-Addo-led NPP government instead named the airport after Yakubu Tali, a founding member of the NPP. He said that the NDC government is now thinking about that choice again.
