Only four days to apply: Ghana and Barbados team up to recruit allied health pros, five years’ experience required, no exceptions.

According to a statement from April 9, 2026, the governments of Barbados and Ghana are working together to hire qualified allied health professionals to work in Barbados. The Ministry of Health in Ghana is in charge of the exercise, which is aimed at filling positions like cardiac perfusionists, ECG and EEG technicians, audiologists, radiographers, occupational, respiratory, and speech therapists. To be considered, applicants must meet the requirements of the Allied Health Professions Council, have at least five years of experience, and provide documents such as academic certificates, proof of good standing, appointment letters, a police clearance, and a valid passport. The application period is from April 10 to April 14, 2026, and it is done through the Ministry of Health’s recruitment portal. Candidates who are chosen for interviews must bring original documents, and those who are not chosen will not be contacted.
