PHD Opportunity
Dr. Shijuan Chen is recruiting a PhD student to join her lab at the School for the Environment at UMass Boston, , starting in Fall 2026.
The PhD student will receive a tuition waiver and a stipend through a teaching and/or research assistantship.
Dr. Chen leads the Geospatial and Earth Observation Science for Innovation and Application (GEOSIA) Lab, which advances cutting-edge research in remote sensing and geospatial analysis to address technological, environmental, and societal challenges.
The mission of the lab is to transform Earth observation data into actionable solutions for a resilient and sustainable future. Lab website: https://lnkd.in/ecRYDFQm
