Pan-African Power Rising! Mahama Hosts Mega Conference at Nkrumah Mausoleum
The “International Conference of Pan-African Progressive Forces Commemorating the 5th Pan-African Congress” will be formally opened by President John Dramani Mahama on November 18–19, 2025, at the Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum. The conference, which is being organized by the Pan-African Progressive Front (PPF), will bring together representatives from 56 nations, including well-known individuals from the African diaspora, to talk about economic independence, reparations, and continental unity. The Accra Declaration will be signed at the conclusion of the meeting. There will be a lot of cultural events, such as the debut of a brand-new Pan-African hymn by Ghanaian musician Amandzeba and a performance by American rapper and activist Noname, which will show how art and music can promote solidarity, resiliency, and a common history. Hon. Dr. Nadia Arop Dudi, the Minister of Culture for South Sudan, highlighted the 5th Pan-African Congress’s historical importance in promoting social justice, African independence, and human rights. The meeting aims to challenge neo-colonialism, economic reliance, and cultural dominance while motivating a new generation to seek justice, restitution, and Africa’s self-determined development, drawing inspiration from the Manchester Congress of 1945. Pan-African Television will broadcast the opening ceremony live, allowing viewers across Africa and the diaspora to see and participate in this reaffirmed dedication to global leadership, empowerment, and continental unity.
