Ayawaso East MP Mahama Naser Toure Dies After Illness—Parliament Mourns Four-Term Legislator
Mahama Naser Toure, the Member of Parliament for Ayawaso East, has died after being sick for a while at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital.
Mr. Toure served four terms in the legislature and was an active member of Parliament. He was Vice Chairman of the Energy Committee and a member of the Roads and Transport Committee, the House Committee, and the Private Members’ Bills and Motions Committee.
Richard Acheampong, the Second Deputy Majority Whip, says that the late MP will be buried today at his home in Nima, Accra, in keeping with Islamic custom.
