Dr. K.K. Sarpong: Ken Agyapong’s Outspokenness Is Manageable (Judge Him by Character, Not Just Words)
Dr. K.K. Sarpong, who used to be the CEO of the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation, said that Kennedy Agyapong, a candidate for the NPP presidency, is outspoken but manageable. He told party delegates to judge him based on his whole character, not just his fiery speech. Dr. Sarpong said on Channel One TV’s “Face to Face” on January 20 that Mr. Agyapong usually only reacts when provoked and that his strengths outweigh concerns about his rhetoric. He also pointed out that there are no allegations of corruption against him. He went on to say that getting to know the candidate better has shown him to be humble, and he noted that Mr. Agyapong’s recent behavior shows that he is becoming more mature and presidential. He stressed that leadership should be judged as a whole, not just on one perceived flaw.
