From Culture to Caribbean: KKD Takes On Huge Global Role for Ghana
As part of efforts to improve Ghana’s international relations and strengthen bilateral interaction with Caribbean countries, Kwasi Kyei Darkwah, often known as KKD, has been named Ghana’s Special Envoy to the Caribbean Region. Strengthening diplomatic, cultural, and economic ties with nations like Cuba, Haiti, the Dominican Republic, Trinidad & Tobago, and Barbados will be the main objective of KKD’s new position. His role complements Ghana’s overarching foreign policy objectives, which include promoting Ghanaian culture internationally, increasing commerce and investment, and working with Caribbean allies on common development interests. Ghana’s dedication to strengthening links with the Caribbean by leveraging historical, cultural, and ancestral ties is further shown by the appointment.
