IGP Shakes Up Senior Police Command (Major Leadership Changes for Efficiency!)

Christian Tetteh Yohuno, the Inspector-General of Police, has made immediate changes to the senior command of the Ghana Police Service to make leadership and operations more efficient. Some of the most important changes are that COP Dr. Sayibu Pabi Gariba is moving from Director General/Technology to Director General/NAPD, COP Iddi Lansah Seidu is moving from Director General/Welfare to Director General/Technology, COP Dr. Vance Baba Gariba is moving from Director General/Operations to Director General/Research & Planning, COP Emmanuel Teye-Cudjoe is moving from Director General/PPSB to Director General/Operations, DCOP Darko Offei Lomotey is moving from Director General/Research & Planning to Director General/PPSB, and DCOP Eric Ken Winful is moving from Director General/NAPD to Director General/Welfare. There were also changes to regional and technical postings. For example, DCOP Charles K. Adu became the Regional Commander of the Eastern Sector, DCOP Isaac Asante moved to National Headquarters, DCOP George B. Ohene Boadi became the Regional Commander/CR, DCOP George Ankomah became the Regional Commander/ENR, and DCOP Alex Kodjo Wowolo became the Central MTTD/AR. The IGP said that the goal of these changes is to make leadership stronger, make things work better, and provide better service.
