NPP Rolls Out Voter Register Exhibition—Transparency Drive Ahead of 2026 Flagbearer Polls!
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has announced that it will be showing its voter register across the country in preparation for the party’s presidential election in 2026. This is part of the party’s efforts to make sure that its internal electoral process is open, honest, and trustworthy. The NPP said in an official statement from the party’s Presidential Elections Committee (PEC) that the 2026 Presidential Elections Voter Register has been sent to all constituencies in the country through the Regional Secretariats. William Yamoah, Secretary of the Presidential Elections Committee, signed a statement on December 29, 2025, saying that the exhibition exercise is meant to give party members, especially delegates, the chance to check their information in their own constituencies and regions. The goal of the exercise is to find and fix mistakes like missing names, misspelled names, wrong or missing photos, missing images, and other clerical errors that could keep people from voting in the presidential election. The party has told Regional Executive Committees and Constituency Executive Committees to formally report any problems they find during the exhibition period to their designated IT officers so that they can be fixed right away. The verification process will start on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, and end on Monday, January 5, 2026. The NPP has asked Regional and Constituency Executives, Members of the Constituency Council of Elders, Constituency Patrons, and Electoral Area Coordinators to actively support and help with the exhibition in all constituencies to make sure it goes smoothly and is open. To make things fairer and more open, the party has also asked all presidential candidates to send representatives to watch the exhibition exercise at the constituency level. The NPP said again that the initiative shows how serious it is about keeping the internal electoral process free, fair, open, and trustworthy as it gets ready for the presidential election in 2026.
