NSA Portal Closes Dec 22: Last Chance for 2025/2026 Service Registration!
The National Service Authority (NSA) has confirmed that its online enrolment platform for the 2025/2026 national service cycle will be shut down on Monday, December 22, 2025, capping a registration period that began on October 8 and ran for 10 weeks, with an eight‑week validation phase starting on October 29 after several extensions intended to give all qualified graduates ample opportunity to sign up and complete verification requirements. The Authority explained that the cut‑off is necessary to finalise administrative records, tidy up deployment lists and facilitate prompt processing of stipends, and will also allow it to advance key simultaneous placements, such as those for nurses and educators, to fill vacancies in schools and healthcare facilities nationwide. Throughout the enrolment period, the NSA indicated that it will put in place extensive assistance measures for graduates experiencing mismatches between their academic information and their Ghana Card records, including a dedicated support centre at headquarters from October 10 to October 24 staffed by officials from the National Identification Authority and the Ghana Publishing Company to help resolve Ghana Card and gazetting issues on the spot, negotiated reductions in gazette service costs to lessen financial strain, and launched a digital gazette service to replace much of the manual work previously involved. Regional offices also hosted specialised help desks, and a central IT and documentation support unit at national headquarters was activated on December 8 to address complex portal challenges. The NSA added that both registration and validation timelines were repeatedly pushed back based on stakeholder feedback, with regular status updates provided via traditional and social media, press briefings and collaborations with tertiary institutions and the NIA to reconcile graduate lists and correct data discrepancies early, and that a final discretionary window was authorised for those who began but could not finish validation due to technical or administrative problems, to be reviewed individually by regional offices with documentation and proof of prior validation efforts submitted by December 22. Emphasising that national service remains a civic responsibility, the Authority urged graduates to accept their assignments and contribute across both public and private sectors, reiterated that closing the portal is key to completing postings, maintaining accurate payrolls and eliminating erroneous entries, and reiterated its commitment to fairness, openness and efficiency in the process, while advising those with unresolved matters to contact the NSA Call Centre at the provided numbers or via the Authority’s official social media channels and expressing gratitude for the cooperation of all prospective personnel.
