Ken Agyapong’s Praise 2026: Christian, Inclusive—Calls for Unity Before NPP Primaries!
Kennedy Ohene Agyapong’s campaign team has made it clear that even though he is a devout Christian, he is open to and respectful of all religious beliefs in Ghana.
Kwasi Kwarteng, the campaign’s spokesperson, spoke after the Ken’s National Praise 2026 event on January 2. He said that the thanksgiving service was based on Christian faith but was open to people of all faiths. He said that the meeting had Muslims, traditional leaders, Buddhists, and people from the Ga Mantse.
Mr. Kwarteng said that Mr. Agyapong is open about being a Christian, but he doesn’t use it to keep other people out. He said that the turnout at the event was overwhelming, with more people showing up than expected and even spilling out of the venue.
Mr. Agyapong has said many times that the event was a thanksgiving service and not a political rally. He took the chance to ask for peace, unity, and prayer before the NPP presidential primaries on January 31, 2026. He told party members and the whole country to choose togetherness and unity over violence, division, and anger.
