Sarkodie Questions Ebo Noah Arrest—Says Content Creation Isn’t a Crime!

Sarkodie, a Ghanaian rapper, has questioned the arrest of Evans Eshun, better known as Ebo Noah. He thinks the police may have been wrong to do it and that the self-proclaimed prophet was just making content and not breaking the law.

Sarkodie posted a video on Instagram on January 2, 2026, showing Ebo Noah in handcuffs. He said he didn’t know of any crime the content creator had committed. He suggested that the very public prophecy should not have been taken at face value.

Ebo Noah, a 33-year-old content creator, became well-known across the country in late 2025 after predicting a terrible flood in Ghana on December 25. He posted pictures on social media of people building wooden “arks,” which caused a lot of fear and worry among the public. He later said that his prayers had kept the disaster from happening when the flood didn’t happen.

People were even more angry after Ebo Noah showed up at Sarkodie’s Rapperholic 2025 concert on the day the flood was supposed to happen. The Police Cyber Vetting Team arrested him on December 31, 2025, for spreading false information and making people scared and panicked.

After that, the Adentan Circuit Court held him for two weeks and told him to get a psychiatric evaluation. His next court date is set for January 16, 2026.
