We’re Hiring: HR Generalist III (Part-Time)

Location : Hybrid (2 days onsite), Gaithersburg, MD
Schedule: 25 hours per week
Compensation: $30–$40 per hour

MPF Federal is seeking an experienced HR Generalist III to support benefits administration, leave management, employee relations, compliance, and onboarding activities. This role serves as a key point of contact for employees and provides broad support across Human Resources functions.

Key Responsibilities
Administer employee benefits and serve as liaison with benefit providers
Manage FMLA, leave of absence, workers’ compensation, and related documentation
Conduct new hire orientation and support onboarding processes
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations
Maintain HR records, audits, and HRIS data integrity
Support employee relations, performance management, and policy implementation
Assist with employee engagement initiatives and exit interviews

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, plus 2+ years of HR experience; or 5+ years of progressive HR experience
Minimum 2 years of HR Generalist experience
Knowledge of HR compliance regulations (FLSA, NLRA, EEO, etc.)
Experience with HRIS platforms; Paylocity preferred
Government contracting and SCA experience preferred
aPHR, PHR, or SHRM-CP certification preferred
