Adutwum Team: Ignore Polls (NPP Delegates Want Transformative Leadership)
Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum’s campaign team has dismissed recent polls that show him losing in the NPP’s January 31 flagbearer contest. They say that these polls don’t reflect the views of the party delegates who will decide the outcome. On January 20, campaign spokesperson Yaw Opoku Mensah told Channel One TV that NPP delegates are politically savvy and focused on picking a candidate who can lead a renewal agenda, not on polls or public speculation. He said that the party is at a turning point and needs strong leadership to keep the opposition from going on for too long after 2028. Dr. Adutwum will run for office against former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Kennedy Agyapong, Dr. Bryan Acheampong, and Ing. Kwabena Agyepong, who used to be the NPP’s General Secretary.
