Kwarteng: Ken Agyapong’s Temperament Is Strength (Focus on His Leadership, Not Personal Attacks)
Kwaku Kwarteng, the MP for Obuasi West and a member of Kennedy Agyapong’s campaign team, has denied that the NPP presidential candidate doesn’t have the right temperament to lead Ghana. On January 26, Kwarteng said on Channel One TV’s The Point of View that people who criticize Agyapong’s temperament do so because they can’t argue against his policies or leadership style. He stressed that Agyapong has the strength and determination to deal with the problems facing the country, and that these traits should not be mistaken for a lack of calm or ability to be president. Kwarteng said it was unfair to question Agyapong’s temperament and told critics to focus on the content of his leadership instead of personal attacks.
