President John Dramani Mahama has announced Ghana’s intention to deepen cooperation with Belarus in agriculture through technology transfer, skills development and investment as part of efforts to modernise the country’s agricultural sector. Speaking during his state visit to Minsk, Belarus, President Mahama said the two countries were committed to strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation in agriculture, trade and industry. The President’s remarks followed the signing of three memoranda of understanding (MOUs) aimed at enhancing collaboration between Ghana and Belarus.
