After Morocco’s 2-0 quarterfinal win over Cameroon in the 2025 AFCON hosted in Morocco, Brahim Diaz scored, bringing his tournament total to five goals in five games. Cameroon felt wronged when referee Dahane Beida from Mauritania denied a penalty when forward Bryan Mbeumo went down in the box.
