NAANA MEANS BUSINESS! — Veep Rallies Ghana’s Industries for a Self-Made Economy.
The government’s commitment to constructing a robust and autonomous industrial sector has been reiterated by Vice President Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang. During her speech at the Association of Ghana Industries (AGI) Awards Night, she commended the companies that received awards for their perseverance and inventiveness, emphasizing that they served as models for the development of Ghana. She brought attention to the fact that programs such as the 24-Hour Economy and the Feed Ghana Programme were developed in order to assist the agricultural and industrial sectors in order to enhance local processing, job generation, and production. The vice president reassured that the government is prepared to work in partnership with the business sector to remove obstacles, encourage the addition of value, and increase industrial capacity, while also recognizing all enterprises that are making contributions to the development of the country.
