The Ghana Gold Board (GoldBod) did very well in the third quarter of 2025, making GH¢691.14 million in sales and having GH¢1.12 billion in cash at the conclusion of the quarter. It made a net profit of GH¢637.39 million after spending GH¢53.98 million. This was because to assay fees from small-scale miners (GH¢244.73 million) and service fees from the Bank of Ghana (GH¢386.62 million). GoldBod bought 26,153.98 kg of gold from small-scale miners and 119.78 kg from large-scale producers for the central bank. This helped the industry become more official. Exports were strong. ASM operators sent 25,780.60 kg of gold for US$2.71 billion, while large-scale producers sent 24,911.21 kg worth US$2.43 billion, along with 11,271.59 carats of diamonds worth US$4.19 million. The Board gave out 577 licenses, put two on hold, took one away, and allowed 22 self-financed aggregators.
