GHS10 million lawsuit: Daddy Lumba’s widow takes TikToker to court over ‘bribed judge’ and ‘paternity lies’ claims.
On April 20, 2026, Priscilla Ofori, who is better known as Odo Broni and is the widow of Ghanaian music legend Charles Kwadwo Fosuh (Daddy Lumba), filed a GHS10 million defamation lawsuit against TikToker Cyndy Emma Koomson, who is also known as Queen Emma, in the High Court of Justice in Accra. Court documents say that the plaintiff and her six children have been the victims of ongoing cyberbullying and a coordinated online harassment campaign linked to the defendant and her friends. The lawsuit says that Queen Emma used her TikTok account to post false and hurtful things, like saying that Odo Broni bribed a judge in a previous case about her late husband’s funeral, had affairs outside of marriage, and that the paternity of her children was in doubt. It also says that the defendant made serious accusations that Odo Broni was to blame for her husband’s death and used rude language against her. Odo Broni wants an unreserved apology and retraction to be published in the Daily Graphic and on the defendant’s social media accounts, as well as GHS10 million in damages, which includes GHS3 million in general damages and GHS7 million in aggravated damages.
