NDC’s bench is deeper than Mahama, Tameklo names four leaders who could take down Bawumia.
The Chief Executive Officer of the National Petroleum Authority, Godwin Edudzi Tameklo has stated that the National Democratic Congress has a number of competent people who can beat the New Patriotic Party’s presidential candidate, Mahamudu Bawumia. He said the strength of the party is not only former President John Dramani Mahama. On April 26, he mentioned Julius Debrah, Cassiel Ato Forson, Johnson Asiedu Nketia and Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang as credible leaders who can lead well, during a discussion on Channel One TV. He argued that the large number of potential candidates is an indication of internal strength and not division, adding that any of them can beat Dr Bawumia in a future election.
