Richard Quaye opens up on divorce drama: ‘I can settle this in 24 hours, if she’s willing.
Ghanaian businessman Richard Nii Armah Quaye has spoken about his reported divorce from his ex-wife, Joana Coffie, expressing willingness to reconcile amicably despite an ongoing court dispute. Speaking on The Delay Show on April 25, he said he holds no resentment toward her, remains committed to maintaining peace for the sake of their children, and has consistently sought an amicable resolution since their marital challenges began. He noted that society often handles the end of marriages poorly compared to their beginnings, calling for better approaches to separation. Quaye explained that his efforts to resolve matters privately, including inviting his ex-wife to discussions, were unsuccessful, leading to legal action, though he maintains she remains an important part of his life as the mother of his children. He added that he is open to resolving their differences at any time under the right conditions, insisting the matter could be settled within 24 hours if both parties agree, while also attributing some of the challenges to external negative influences. He reaffirmed his desire for a peaceful co-parenting relationship and said he continues to care about her wellbeing regardless of their differences.
