When Love Becomes Complete
Fear often grows where the heart is uncertain about being accepted, forgiven, or loved. John points us toward a deeper confidence: God’s love reaches its fullness when we understand that His mercy is greater than our failures and His grace is stronger than our fears.
To know God’s love is to learn to live with a settled heart. We can face tomorrow, our failures, and even judgment with confidence because our hope rests in Christ. His love gives the soul room to breathe.
And that love must eventually move outward. “We love because he first loved us” (1 John 4:19). The person who has received God’s love begins to reflect it, in patience, forgiveness, compassion, and the way they treat others.
When God’s love becomes deeply rooted in us, fear loses its authority.
