Papa Ajasco Star: Fame Didn’t Bring Wealth (Ayoyinka Says Legal Limits Hurt Earnings)
Abiodun Ayoyinka has said that even though he has been famous for decades, he is having trouble making ends meet because Wale Adenuga Productions owns the rights to the “Papa Ajasco” character. He said that the character’s rights, such as its name and costume, stop him from using the character for endorsements or other roles without permission, which limits his options. Ayoyinka said that a lot of people think of him as the character, which makes it hard for him to get other acting jobs. He also said that he’s been having money problems since he left the Lagos State Ministry of Tourism, Arts, and Culture five years ago and doesn’t own a house or car.
