Hubtel, a top payment service provider in Ghana, has added Sunyani, Techiman, and Tarkwa to its list of places where it does business. This brings the total number of cities where it does business to 11. The goal of the move is to link companies and customers in these commercial centers to Ghana’s digital economy by providing digital payments, delivery logistics, and technologies to help enterprises make more money. People can now purchase from local businesses and pay quickly using the Hubtel app, which also offers quick delivery. The Bank of Ghana has given Hubtel the title of Enhanced Payment Service Provider. This means that companies may take mobile money, card, and QR payments, keep track of transactions, and talk to consumers. The firm was started in 2005 and now has 12 locations around the country with more than 700 people. Its main goal is to make routine transactions easy, safe, and available to all Ghanaians.
