Poll: Bawumia Set to Win NPP Primary (Global InfoAnalytics Projects 57% for Ex-Veep!)
Global InfoAnalytics released a final poll on Friday that said former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia would win the New Patriotic Party’s presidential primaries with 57 percent of the vote. The research company says that Dr. Bawumia will stay the NPP’s flagbearer for the 2028 general election. Kennedy Agyapong is expected to come in second with 28 percent, followed by Dr. Bryan Acheampong with 13 percent. Dr. Osei Yaw Adutwum and Kwabena Agyapong are expected to get two percent and zero percent, respectively. The survey, which was done with probability sampling on more than 10,000 delegates from 276 constituencies, has a 99.9% confidence level. Global InfoAnalytics says that its monthly surveys during the campaign period have consistently shown Dr. Bawumia in the lead ahead of the primaries on Saturday, January 31, when more than 200,000 delegates will vote across the country.
