Sedina Tamakloe-Attionu is in prison, not house arrest, Felix Kwakye Ofosu slams ‘false reports’.
The Minister of State in charge of Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, has dismissed claims that former MASLOC Chief Executive Officer, Sedina Tamakloe-Attionu, is under house arrest rather than serving a prison sentence. Speaking to the media on Wednesday, June 17, Mr. Kwakye Ofosu clarified that Tamakloe-Attionu is currently in the custody of the Ghana Prison Service and is serving her sentence under its supervision. He stressed that the Prison Service is fully responsible for her welfare and care where necessary, emphasizing that reports suggesting she is being held in a private residence are false. “She is in the custody of the Ghana Prison Service. They know how to handle people. If somebody needs help there, they know how to take care of her. I can assure you and let me put it on record, she is not in any house. She is not under any house arrest,” he stated.
