Haruna Iddrisu to slain journalist’s family: ‘Justice for Ahmed Suale will not die, we will not relent.’
The Minister for Education and Member of Parliament for Tamale South, Haruna Iddrisu, has reaffirmed government’s commitment to securing justice for slain investigative journalist Ahmed Suale, assuring his family that efforts to bring the perpetrators to book remain ongoing. Speaking during a visit to Ahmed Suale’s family at Wulensi in the Nanumba South District of the Northern Region on Saturday, June 20, the Minister said government would not relent in its pursuit of those responsible for the journalist’s murder. In the presence of Ahmed Suale’s mother, Yakubu Arahamatu, Mr. Iddrisu expressed confidence that justice would ultimately prevail despite the passage of time.
