Adutwum: Ghana’s Youth Are Our Greatest Asset
Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, the Member of Parliament for Bosomtwe and a candidate for the New Patriotic Party’s flagbearer, has called Ghana’s youth the country’s greatest asset. He says that real national development depends more on people than on natural resources like gold and oil.
Dr. Adutwum said in a Facebook post on January 4 that young people who are disciplined, skilled, and hopeful are what drives progress. He told the young people not to let their past shape their future, but to stay focused and get ready for the chances that will come their way.
The message, which was shared with the hashtag #TheAdutwumFactor, is part of his ongoing work with young people as party activities pick up speed. This comes before the NPP’s presidential primary on January 31, 2026, when five candidates, including Dr. Adutwum, will run for the party’s flagbearer position.
