Nana Ama McBrown: From Gari Seller to Top Brand Ambassador (Says ‘I’m Content, Despite My Past)

Nana Ama McBrown, a Ghanaian actress and TV personality, says she is happy with her life even though she has had problems in the past. She grew up with her grandmother and sold gari and soap to help support the family. She also helped raise her sister’s children until she had her own child at 42. She spoke at the Women of Valour event in London, which was started by Nana Aba Anamoah. She said that her success is due to hard work and determination. She also said that she now works with about 14 major brands in Ghana, even though she doesn’t have a formal certificate. Kate Henshaw and Debora Shanley were among the speakers at the event. Its goal was to honor women who have overcome obstacles and motivate others with their stories.
