We didn’t promise to make you rich, Asiedu Nketiah tells NDC supporters: put Ghana first, not your pockets.

National Democratic Congress (NDC) National Chairman Johnson Asiedu Nketiah has urged party members to prioritise Ghana’s development above personal and party expectations. Speaking to supporters in Salaga during a thank-you tour in the Savannah Region, he acknowledged concerns among some members who believe they are yet to benefit directly from the NDC’s return to power under President John Dramani Mahama, despite admitting that the government is performing well. He stressed that the party never campaigned on promises of personal enrichment for supporters and urged members to remain patient and continue supporting government efforts, insisting that national progress must come first and that party members would eventually benefit as the country improves.
